But some of us did not come here to flip burgers. Some of us came here to cook. Some of us came here to make myth.

The merchant writes to fill demand. They ask the market what it wants. They adjust, adapt, optimize, and deliver.

Their tools are: trends, algorithms, funnels, customer avatars, conversion rates. They treat language like inventory. They treat readers like customers. They treat stories like products.

"There is nothing wrong with that path" — but it is not the path of the myth‑maker.

A myth‑maker: listens, witnesses, reveals, carries messages, offers hope, builds worlds that breathe. Their characters are not assets. Their stories are not commodities. Their writing is not a service job. A myth‑maker is a vessel.

The culinary artist doesn’t ask, “What do you want me to cook?” They say, “Sit. I will show you what I’ve created.” They don’t follow orders. They follow instinct. They don’t serve fast food. They serve experience. They don’t chase trends. They chase truth.

Because the world is drowning in content but starving for meaning. Because readers don’t remember what they consumed. They remember what changed them.
